Constructed to celebrate the victory of Prussia over Denmark in 1864, Austria in 1866 and France in 1870.
The statue, built by Friedrich Drake depict the goddess Victoria.
A staircase with 285 steps leads to an observatory.
The statue weighs 35 tons.
